Prior to the all-star break, The Eight30 Athletics staff submitted its collective All-NBA teams — if the season ended now. The consensus list highlights 23 of the best players in basketball through the midway point.
Using a tiered system, Eight30 Athletics staff members comprised lists of which 15 players they felt have played best through the two-thirds point of the season.
The consensus list features 23 distinct players who received a vote for an All-NBA team in the exercise. First team votes grant players 3 points, second team votes grant players 2 points and third team votes grant players 1 point. The calculated vote total for each player earned them their respective place on the consensus teams, while some players remain honorable mentions and lack enough points to be placed on a team.
With the conclusion of 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend, these players will look to finish out strong campaigns and impress voters for the true end-of-year coronations.
